ASEE divides its membership into twelve geographic Sections.

These Sections offer members opportunities for networking, professional development, and volunteer leadership.

A group elected from and by the members of each Section represents and organizes Section activities. These leadership roles are unique to each Section.

Section activities include conducting bi-annual local meetings; conducting workshops, effective teaching institutes, and other professional development activities for faculty members and administrators, sponsoring awards for professional excellence; and issuing newsletters.
